MMP-2/MMP-9 Inhibitor II is a potent inhibitor of MMP-2 (IC50 = 17 nM) and MMP-9 (IC50 = 30 nM). MMP-2/MMP-9 Inhibitor II has been shown to induce and rapidly activate HIF. Also reported to inhibit Lewis lung carcinoma-induced lung colonization in a murine model.

Does it effect on other MMPs?
Could you please tell me about the specificity of it?
Asked by: Matt48
Thank you for your question. The primary target is MMP-2, but it is an inhibitor of both MMP-2 (IC50 = 17 nM) and MMP-9 (IC50 = 30 nM).

Is it cell-permeable or cell-impermeable?
Asked by: Jz28sail
Thank you for your question. sc-311430, MMP-2/MMP-9 Inhibitor II is not cell permeable. We suggest alternate product: sc-354093, MMP-2/MMP-9 Inhibitor V for a cell-permeable MMP-2/MMP-9 Inhibitor. (https://www.scbt.com/scbt/product/mmp-2-mmp-9-inhibitor-v-869577-53-7?requestFrom=search)
