MLL Antibody (HRX107) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects MLL protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). MLL protein, also known as myeloid/lymphoid leukemia protein, plays a crucial role in regulating embryonal and hematopoietic development, making MLL essential for proper cellular differentiation and proliferation. MLL function is particularly significant in acute myeloid leukemia, where MLL gene undergoes translocation with other genes, leading to oncogenic fusion proteins that disrupt normal gene regulation. MLL protein is involved in transcriptional regulation of various target genes, influencing processes such as cell cycle progression and apoptosis. Given MLL′s pivotal role in gene expression and development, MLL is a key focus in cancer research, particularly in understanding mechanisms underlying leukemia. Anti-MLL antibody (HRX107) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying complexities of gene regulation and molecular pathways involved in hematopoietic malignancies.
