SEE ALSO...

MLL Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects MLL protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MLL antibody (H-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MLL protein, also known as mixed lineage leukemia 1, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during embryonic and hematopoietic development. MLL functions as a histone methyltransferase, specifically methylating lysine 4 on histone H3, which is a key modification associated with active transcription. This post-translational modification helps establish a transcriptionally permissive chromatin environment, facilitating recruitment of transcriptional machinery and promoting expression of target genes. Dysregulation of MLL and associated pathways can lead to severe consequences, including development of acute myeloid leukemia, highlighting the importance of studying MLL in both normal and pathological contexts.
