    SEE ALSO...

MIXL1 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects an epitope mapping between amino acids 100-121 of MIXL1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MIXL1 antibody (E-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MIXL1, also known as Mix1 homeobox-like 1, is a 232 amino acid transcription factor that plays a crucial role in axial mesendoderm morphogenesis and endoderm formation, which are essential processes during embryonic development. Located primarily in the nucleus, MIXL1 contains a highly conserved homeobox DNA-binding domain that enables regulation of gene expression through its helix-turn-helix structure. This structural feature allows MIXL1 to bind to specific DNA sequences and modulate the transcription of target genes, influencing cellular differentiation, particularly in blood development and the maturation of heart and gut tissues. MIXL1′s involvement in the negative regulation of brachyury expression highlights its significance in developmental biology. Notably, overexpression of MIXL1 has been linked to non-Hodgkin and Hodgkin lymphomas, indicating potential involvement in carcinogenesis and making MIXL1 a valuable target for research in cancer biology. These attributes establish MIXL1 (E-10) monoclonal antibody as an essential tool for investigating developmental processes and cancer biology implications.
