    SEE ALSO...

MFSD1 Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MFSD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MFSD1 (A-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Major Facilitator Superfamily, to which MFSD1 belongs, is characterized by its presumed role in carbohydrate transport, featuring 10-12 membrane-spanning domains that facilitate the movement of substrates across cellular membranes. MFSD1, also known as Smooth Muscle Cell-Associated Protein 4, is a 465 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing. MFSD1 plays a crucial role in cellular transport mechanisms, which are vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to metabolic demands. The gene encoding MFSD1 is located on human chromosome 3, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Marfan Syndrome and Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, highlighting the importance of MFSD1 in both normal physiology and disease states. Understanding the function and interactions of MFSD1 can provide insights into its potential roles in health and disease, making anti-MFSD1 antibody (A-11) an essential tool for researchers studying these pathways.
