MeOSuc-AAPV-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate of neutrophil elastase. This compound can be used to assay elastase activity by spectrofluorometrically monitoring elastase-produced hydrolysis products. Assays of human leukocytes and porcine pancreatic elastase is described with use of MeOSuc-AAPV-AMC as a probe.

Hi, I was wondering which substrate is more specific for PR3 enzyme MeOSuc-AAPV-pNA or MeOSuc-AAPV-AMC?

Asked by: AAftab
Thank you for your question. MeOSuc-AAPV-pNA has been found to be a substrate for PR3, we do not have any literature supporting MeOSuc-AAPV-AMC being a highly sensitive substrate for PR3.

Any recommendations for solubility in aqueous buffers?

Asked by: chemicalsmg
Thank you for your question. This chemical is sparingly soluble in aqueous buffers. For maximum solubility in aqueous buffers, first dissolve in DMF and then dilute with the aqueous buffer of choice. Solubility is approximately 0.5 mg/ml in a 1:1 solution of DMF:PBS (pH 7.2) using this method. Please contact Technical Service if you have further questions concerning this product.
