    SEE ALSO...

MEKK 15 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects MEKK 15 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MEKK 15 antibody (D-6) is available as the non-conjugated form. MEKK 15, also known as MAP3K15, is a critical component of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, which plays a vital role in regulating various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. This 1,313 amino acid protein features a protein kinase domain that enables functioning as a serine/threonine kinase, catalyzing the phosphorylation of target proteins in response to extracellular signals. The phosphorylation of proteins is essential for modulating activity and interactions, thereby influencing key cellular functions. MEKK 15 is particularly important in stress responses and developmental signaling, as MAP3K15 can activate downstream kinases that ultimately lead to cellular responses to growth factors and stress stimuli. The gene encoding MEKK 15 is located on human chromosome X, which is significant as this chromosome is associated with various genetic disorders and plays a crucial role in sex determination and development.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514606 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
