    MB67 Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects MB67 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MB67 antibody (C-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MB67 protein, also known as the Constitutive Androstane Receptor, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression related to drug metabolism and detoxification processes, particularly in the liver, where MB67 is predominantly expressed. MB67 functions as a transcription factor that can activate gene transcription without ligand binding, distinguishing MB67 from conventional hormone receptors requiring ligand activation. MB67 forms heterodimers with the retinoic-X receptor to bind specific DNA sequences and regulate target genes involved in xenobiotic metabolism, making MB67 essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental changes. Understanding MB67 function is vital for research into drug interactions and developing therapeutic strategies for liver-related diseases.
