Matrilin-2 Antibody (2B8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects Matrilin-2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Matrilin-2 antibody (2B8) is available as a non-conjugated format. Matrilin-2 is a crucial component of the extracellular matrix, playing a significant role in matrix assembly and organization, which is vital for maintaining the structural integrity of cartilage and other connective tissues. Matrilin-2 is primarily secreted by chondrocytes and is essential for the formation of filamentous networks within the extracellular matrix, facilitating the proper mechanical properties of cartilage.
