SEE ALSO...

Mast Cell Protease 7 Antibody (CC40) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Mast Cell Protease 7 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Mast Cell Protease 7 antibody (CC40) is available as a non-conjugated format. Mast Cell Protease 7, also known as Tryptase alpha/beta 1 or MMCP-7, is predominantly expressed in differentiated mast cells and plays a crucial role in the immune response. Mast Cell Protease 7 is primarily located in the secretory granules of mast cells, which are specialized cells involved in inflammatory processes. Mast Cell Protease 7′s localization within these granules enables rapid release of proteolytic enzymes during immune responses, facilitating extracellular matrix component degradation and modulating immune cell activity. Mast Cell Protease 7 degrades fibrinogen at the endothelium/blood barrier, which may influence fibrin-platelet clot formation, thereby playing a role in hemostasis and inflammation. Factors such as Activin A, TGFβ, and Smad3 regulate Mast Cell Protease 7 gene transcription, highlighting Mast Cell Protease 7′s importance in various physiological and pathological processes.
