    SEE ALSO...

MARCH4 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects MARCH4 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MARCH4 antibody (A-1) is available as the non-conjugated format. MARCH4, also known as RNF174, is a 410 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in ubiquitination, which is essential for regulating protein degradation within cells. MARCH4 is primarily localized to the Golgi apparatus, where MARCH4 functions as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, facilitating ubiquitin transfer from ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes to target proteins, such as CD4 and MHC-I. MARCH4′s ability to promote degradation of these proteins is vital for maintaining immune system homeostasis and preventing autoimmune responses. The gene encoding MARCH4 is located on human chromosome 2, a region containing over 1,400 genes and representing nearly 8% of the human genome, highlighting MARCH4′s importance in various biological processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514837 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
