MAMSTR Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MAMSTR protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-MAMSTR antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MAMSTR protein, also known as MEF2-activating SAP transcriptional regulatory protein, is a crucial 415 amino acid nuclear protein that acts as a transcriptional coactivator, stimulating the MEF-2 family of transcription factors, which play a vital role in muscle development and neuronal differentiation. MAMSTR is predominantly expressed in the spleen, placenta, skeletal muscle, and brain, and exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms, highlighting functional diversity.
