MAGE-A11 Antibody (YN-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects MAGE-A11 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MAGE-A11 antibody (YN-2) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. The melanoma-associated antigen (MAGE) family, which includes MAGE-A11, is crucial in cancer immunotherapy due to tumor-specific expression patterns. MAGE-A11, also known as melanoma antigen family A, 11, MAGE11, MAGE-11, or CT1.11 (cancer/testis antigen 1.11), is a 429 amino acid protein predominantly localized in both nucleus and cytoplasm, containing a single MAGE domain. MAGE-A11 is expressed in various tumors, including melanoma, breast cancer, and lung cancer, and serves as a co-regulator of the androgen receptor (AR), enhancing AR activity by modulating interdomain interactions. The regulation of AR by MAGE-A11 is significant as MAGE-A11 is believed to influence embryonic development and contribute to tumor progression and transformation. Notably, MAGE-A11 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may have implications for functional diversity and role in different cancer types.
