Macrophage Marker Antibody (RM0029-11H3) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Macrophage Marker in mouse samples through applications such as immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Macrophage Marker (RM0029-11H3) antibody is offered in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental setups. Macrophages play a crucial role in the immune system as they are responsible for the phagocytosis of pathogens and the clearance of cellular debris, which is vital for maintaining tissue homeostasis and initiating immune responses. These cells are strategically located in various tissues throughout the body, where they can quickly respond to infection or injury. Their ability to adapt to different microenvironments and their plasticity in function enable them to perform diverse roles, from antigen presentation to the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The dynamic nature of macrophages is essential for both innate and adaptive immunity, as they not only act as first responders to pathogens but also help shape the subsequent immune response, making them a key focus in immunological research and therapeutic development.
