Datasheets
  • mouse IgG1 binding protein (m-IgG1 BP) conjugated to biotin (B)
  • supplied at 100 µg in 0.5 ml volume
  • Strongly recommended alternative to conventional anti-mouse IgG secondary antibodies for Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
  • Suitable for binding to most, but not all, mouse IgG1 immunoglobulins; not suitable for use with mouse monoclonal IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgM, IgA or IgE antibodies. May slightly cross react with mouse IgG2b and goat IgG antibodies
  • Not cross-reactive with human, rat or rabbit IgG antibodies
  • Highly specific reagent that provides strong signal with minimal background and virtually complete elimination of lot to lot variation associated with conventionally generated secondary antibodies
  • Mouse IgG binding proteins are recommended for some, but not all of our monoclonal antibodies. Product descriptions on our monoclonal antibody product pages will state if the Mouse IgG binding protein is the preferred detection reagent for that product.

Mouse IgG1 binding protein (IgG1 BP) conjugated to biotin (B) is a strongly recommended alternative to conventional goat/rabbit anti-mouse IgG secondary antibodies for immunohistochemical (IHC) signal enhancement. Mouse IgG1 binding protein is a highly specific reagent that provides strong signal with minimal background and virtually complete elimination of lot to lot variation associated with conventionally generated secondary antibodies. Mouse IgG1 binding protein (m-IgG1 BP) is suitable for binding to most, but not all, mouse IgG1 immunoglobulins, comprising approximately 55% of SCBT's mouse monoclonal antibodies; not suitable for use with mouse monoclonal IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgM, IgA and IgE antibodies. It may slightly cross react with mouse IgG2b and goat IgG antibodies. Not cross reactive with human, rat and rabbit IgG antibodies.
