루시퍼라제 항체(C-12)는 IgG2a κ 마우스 단일 클론 루시퍼라제 항체(반딧불이 루시퍼라제 항체라고도 함)로서 WB, IP, IF 및 ELISA로 Photinus pyralis 유래의 루시퍼라제 단백질을 검출합니다. 루시퍼라제 항체(C-12)는 비접합 항-루시퍼라제 항체 형태와 아가로스, HRP, PE, FITC 및 여러 Alexa Fluor® 접합체를 포함한 여러 접합 형태의 항-루시퍼라제 항체 형태로 제공됩니다. 북미에 서식하는 반딧불이인 포토누스 피랄리스에서 분리한 루시페라아제는 생물 발광 유기체에서 빛 생산을 촉매하는 가장 광범위하게 연구된 효소 중 하나입니다. 루시페라아제는 ATP 의존성 AMP 결합 효소 계열에 속합니다. 이 효소는 파장이 562nm인 녹색 빛을 생성합니다. 다음은 루시퍼라제에 의해 촉매되는 화학 촉매 반응입니다: 루시페린 + O(2) + ATP = 산화된 루시페린 + CO(2) + AMP + 이인산염 + 빛

Will luciferase retain its enzyme activity towards luciferin and ATP upon binding to this antibody?

Thank you for your question. Luciferase Antibody (C-12): sc-74548 is only recommended for detection of Luciferase of Photinus pyralis origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA. We do not have data on its performance in assays other than antigen detection.

Will storing this firefly luciferase antibody at -20 lead to activity loss?

Thank you for your question. All of our antibodies should be kept at +4 °C for storage to prevent degradation. A single freeze down may impact the antibody's viability and lead to reduced signal strength, but should not render the antibody unusable. We advise testing the antibody and if necessary compensate by increasing the amount of antibody used in your experiments accordingly.

Does this antibody react with nanoLuc luciferase from Promega?

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal Luciferase antibody, sc-74548 was raised against amino acids 251-550 mapping at the C-terminus of Luciferase of Photinus pyralis origin. Unfortunately we do not have any information regarding the nanoLuc Luciferase from Promega, but it does detect standard Luciferace of Photinus pyralis origin.

Hi I have a split luciferase expression system where one vector has nLUC (N terminal LUC) and another vector has cLUC (C terminal LUC). I want to know whether, this antibody can detect both N and C terminal LUC? Thanks
