    SEE ALSO...

LRRC48 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRRC48 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-LRRC48 antibody (H-5) is available as non-conjugated format. LRRC48 consists of 523 amino acids, features five leucine-rich repeats and one LRRCT domain, and is encoded by human chromosome 17p11.2. The leucine-rich repeat (LRR) motifs play a crucial role in mediating protein-protein interactions, which are essential for various cellular processes, including innate immunity and nervous system development. The structural integrity of these motifs allows them to form a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold, accommodating multiple leucine residues within a tightly packed core. This unique structure not only facilitates the binding of diverse proteins but also contributes to the functional versatility of LRR-containing proteins. Importantly, mutations in genes encoding these proteins have been linked to several human diseases, highlighting LRRC48′s significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and potential role in disease mechanisms.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390106 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
