LRRC25 Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects LRRC25 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-LRRC25 antibody (E-7) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. LRRC25, also known as leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 25 or MAPA (monocyte and plasmacytoid-activated protein), consists of 305 amino acids and features two leucine-rich repeats (LRRs). These LRRs provide a versatile structural framework facilitating protein-protein interactions, essential for various biological processes, including immune responses and cellular signaling. LRRC25 is predominantly expressed in monocyte-derived dendritic cells, granulocytes, monocytes, plasmacytoid dendritic cells, B-lymphocytes, and peripheral blood leukocytes, with lower expression levels found in the spleen, bone marrow, lymph nodes, fetal liver, and appendix. Expression of LRRC25 in these immune cell types suggests a potential role in the activation and regulation of both innate and acquired immunity, making LRRC25 a significant target for research in immunology and related fields.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514216 P appropriate for?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen.
