    SEE ALSO...

LOC729825 Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LOC729825 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LOC729825 (A-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LOC729825 protein is located on chromosome 13, which is significant as this chromosome harbors key tumor suppressor genes, including BRCA2 and RB1, both of which play critical roles in cancer prevention. RB1 gene encodes a vital tumor suppressor protein that regulates the cell cycle, and its dysfunction can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation, contributing to various cancers, including retinoblastoma. LOC729825 presence in this genomic context suggests potential important regulatory functions, possibly influencing tumorigenesis or other cellular processes. Chromosome 13 is also associated with developmental disorders when altered, such as trisomy 13, which can lead to severe health complications. LOC729825 gene product is currently provisionally designated LOC729825, pending further characterization to elucidate its specific biological roles and interactions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390882 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
