    SEE ALSO...

leupaxin Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects leupaxin protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). leupaxin Antibody (B-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. leupaxin, also known as LDPL or LPXN, is a 386 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that belongs to the paxillin family and plays a crucial role in cellular signaling. leupaxin is predominantly expressed in lymphoid tissues such as the spleen, lymph nodes, thymus, and appendix, while exhibiting lower levels in bone marrow and fetal liver. leupaxin features four leucine-rich LD-motifs at its N-terminus and four LIM domains at its C-terminus, which are essential for interaction with focal adhesion kinase family members, particularly PYK2, in lymphoid cells. This interaction is vital for regulating cell type-specific signaling at adhesion sites, highlighting leupaxin′s importance in cellular communication and response. Additionally, leupaxin serves as a substrate for tyrosine kinases in lymphoid cells, suggesting involvement in tyrosine kinase-mediated signaling pathways. Notably, leupaxin has been identified as a potential progression marker for a subset of prostate cancer and may function as a novel coactivator of the androgen receptor, underscoring its significance in cancer biology and therapeutic targeting.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376820 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
