    SEE ALSO...

LEPREL4 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects LEPREL4 protein of human, mouse, and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LEPREL4 Antibody (F-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LEPREL4, also known as SC65 or NOL55, is a 437 amino acid member of the leprecan family, primarily located in the granular component of the nucleolus and on the surface of chromosomes during mitosis. This localization suggests a role in chromosomal organization and stability, which is vital for proper cell division and genetic integrity. LEPREL4 undergoes post-translational modification by phosphorylation at tyrosine 234, a modification that can influence function and interactions with other proteins. LEPREL4 gene is situated on human chromosome 17, a region with high gene density that houses critical tumor suppressor genes such as p53 and BRCA1, which are essential for maintaining cellular integrity and preventing malignant transformations.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514276 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
