L-Tryptophan, also known as Tryptophan, is involved in numerous biological processes. Beyond its role in constructing proteins, L-Tryptophan is a critical precursor in the biosynthetic pathways of several key neurotransmitters and hormones that regulate various physiological processes. The most well-known of these is serotonin, a neurotransmitter that is central to mood regulation, sleep, and appetite control.
