KLK10 Antibody (I-06) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects KLK10 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KLK10 antibody (I-06) is available as the non-conjugated format. KLK10 protein is part of the kallikrein family, which consists of serine proteases that play crucial roles in various physiological processes, including blood pressure regulation, inflammation, and tissue remodeling. KLK10 has been implicated in cancer development, as expression levels can be altered in malignant tissues. KLK10 protein is primarily located in prostate and breast tissues, where KLK10 contributes to proteolytic processing of extracellular matrix components, influencing tumor progression and metastasis. Understanding KLK10 localization and function is essential for elucidating KLK10′s role in cancer biology and developing potential therapeutic strategies. The human KLK gene family, which includes 15 members, is clustered on chromosome 19q13, and many genes are regulated by steroid hormones, highlighting their importance in hormone-related cancers. KLK10 protein, along with other kallikreins, is being studied as a potential biomarker in cancer diagnostics, particularly in prostate and breast cancer, where KLK10 expression may provide insights into disease progression and treatment response.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with KLK10 (I-06): sc-100551 monoclonal antibody?

Asked by: Germaine
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGλ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
