    SEE ALSO...

KIF7 Antibody (3F8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG antibody that detects KIF7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by immunofluorescence (IF) and immunohistochemistry. Anti-KIF7 antibody (3F8) is available as a non-conjugated format. KIF7, or kinesin family member 7, is a vital protein composed of 1,343 amino acids, predominantly expressed in embryonic stem cells, melanotic melanoma, and Jurkat T-cells. KIF7 is a member of the KIF27 subfamily within the kinesin-like protein family and features a single kinesin-motor domain, which is essential for its function as a microtubule-dependent motor protein. KIF7 plays a significant role in the Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway, which is crucial for embryonic development, by regulating the proteolysis and stability of GLI transcription factors. Proper functioning of KIF7 is important because dysregulation of the Hedgehog signaling pathway can lead to developmental disorders and various cancers. Using KIF7 (3F8) antibody in research can provide insights into the mechanisms of intracellular transport and the implications of KIF7 in developmental biology and disease.
