    SEE ALSO...

Keratin 33B Antibody (S-28) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects the Keratin 33B protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Keratin 33B antibody (S-28) is available as a non-conjugated format. Keratin 33B is a member of the keratin family, which plays a crucial role in the structural integrity and resilience of epithelial tissues. Keratin 33B (S-28) antibody targets a protein primarily located in the cytoplasm of epithelial cells, where Keratin 33B contributes to the formation of intermediate filaments, providing mechanical support and protection against stress. Keratin 33B expression is particularly important in the skin and hair follicles, as Keratin 33B helps maintain the structural framework necessary for proper tissue functioning. Keratin 33B is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation, making Keratin 33B essential for wound healing and tissue regeneration. Keratin 33B gene is located on human chromosome 17q21.2, and Keratin 33B expression is tightly regulated during various stages of development and in response to environmental stimuli. With a significant role in maintaining cellular architecture and function, Keratin 33B serves as a valuable target for research in dermatological and hair-related studies.

I am using Keratin 33B (S-28): sc-100928 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
