    SEE ALSO...

K-cadherin Antibody (4A10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects K-cadherin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-K-cadherin antibody (4A10) is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. K-cadherin, also known as cadherin-6, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, essential for maintaining tissue integrity and facilitating proper morphogenesis during development. K-cadherin is primarily located at the cell membrane, where adherens junctions form to connect adjacent cells, contributing to tissue structural stability. K-cadherin′s membrane location helps establish and maintain tissue architecture while influencing signaling pathways that regulate cell behavior, including proliferation and differentiation. K-cadherin interacts with cytoplasmic proteins such as β-catenin, vital for transducing signals that affect cellular functions. These interactions underscore K-cadherin′s significance in both normal physiological processes and pathological conditions, making K-cadherin (4A10) antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying cell adhesion and its implications in health and disease.
