QUICK LINKS

Juvenile hormone III is a larval metamorphosis hormone, able to regulate processes such as adult larvae transition. Classified as an acyclic sesquiterpenoid, Juvenile hormone III also regulates oogenesis in adult female insects. Juvenile hormone III controls the larval metamorphosis of insects, including the retention of juvenile characteristics. During synthesis, Juvenile hormone III can be yielded from farnesoic by two alternative pathways. Juvenile hormone III activates the juvenile hormone receptor, known as methoprene-tolerant, with a Kd value of 2.9 nM.

Asked by: 13punMA
Thank you for asking about our product Juvenile hormone III (CAS# 24198-95-6) We use Ethylacetate as a solvent in the final purification stage. It is low melting viscous liquid. 1 ml of JH III (Purity more than 65%)- weight is 0.997gm The density = Weight/ Volume = 0.997. Based on this 10mg (9.97mg) will be ~10µl
