    SEE ALSO...

Junctional SR Marker Antibody (VF1c) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the Junctional SR Marker protein of rabbit origin by western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Junctional SR Marker antibody (VF1c) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Junctional SR Marker protein plays a crucial role in muscle physiology, particularly in the regulation of calcium release from the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR), which is essential for muscle contraction. SR, a specialized type of smooth endoplasmic reticulum, surrounds myofibrils and forms dyad and triad junctions in cardiac and skeletal muscle, respectively. These junctions are critical for excitation-contraction coupling, as they facilitate the interaction between dihydropyridine receptors, which act as voltage sensors, and ryanodine receptors, which serve as calcium release channels. The precise regulation of calcium levels is vital for muscle function, and any disruption in this process can lead to muscle disorders. Junctional SR Marker (VF1c) monoclonal antibody serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the dynamics of calcium signaling and muscle contraction, providing insights into the underlying mechanisms of muscle physiology and potential pathologies.
