SEE ALSO...

IP6K2 Antibody (4F10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects IP6K2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-IP6K2 antibody (4F10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. IP6K2 protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by converting inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6) into pyrophosphate inositol pentakisphosphate (PP-InsP5), which is essential for regulating various cellular processes, including insulin exocytosis. This conversion is significant because InsP6 has been shown to inhibit serine/threonine protein phosphatases, thereby enhancing calcium influx across the plasma membrane, which is vital for insulin secretion. The interaction of IP6K2 with other proteins, such as ATP synthase, further underscores its importance in energy metabolism and signaling pathways. By understanding the function of IP6K2 and its role in cellular processes, researchers can gain insights into metabolic disorders and potential therapeutic targets.

Are there any issues with using sc-130012: IP6K2 (4F10) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-130012 conjugates.
