    SEE ALSO...

Integrin βId Antibody (2B1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin beta Id protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Integrin beta Id antibody (2B1) is available as the non-conjugated format. Integrin beta Id protein plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling, functioning as a key mediator in the interaction between cells and the extracellular matrix. Integrin beta Id protein is primarily located on the cell surface, where Integrin beta Id forms heterodimers with various alpha subunits, allowing for the formation of multiple integrin receptors that can bind to a variety of ligands, including fibronectin and collagen. Integrin beta Id interaction with these ligands is essential for processes such as cell migration, proliferation, and survival, making Integrin beta Id a vital component in tissue development and repair. Furthermore, clustering of integrins upon ligand binding initiates intracellular signaling cascades that influence cellular behavior, highlighting Integrin beta Id importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental cues. With broad species reactivity and versatile applications, Integrin beta Id monoclonal antibody (2B1) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying integrin-mediated processes in various biological contexts.

Your description implies that this antibody is suited to detect the b1D isoform of b1 integrin. b1D is only expressed in striated muscle (PMID: 8567725) and should not be expressed in Hela cells (in contrast to your WB image). Can you comment on that?
