Integrin αIIIb/VIb Antibody (PB36) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin αIIIb/VIb in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. Anti-Integrin αIIIb/VIb antibody (PB36) is available as a non-conjugated format. Integrins, which are heterodimers formed by noncovalently associated transmembrane α and β subunits, play a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling. The Integrin α3 chain, also referred to as very late activation antigen 3 (VLA-3), undergoes significant post-translational modifications, including cleavage in the extracellular domain, resulting in disulfide-linked light and heavy chains. This modification is essential as Integrin α3 effectively interacts with various extracellular matrix proteins, facilitating critical biological processes such as cell migration, differentiation, and survival. Integrin αIIIb/VIb binding to ligands like fibronectin and collagen underscores its importance in maintaining tissue integrity and mediating cellular responses to the extracellular environment. Anti-Integrin αIIIb/VIb antibody (PB36) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the functional dynamics of integrins in various physiological and pathological contexts.
