Integrin α4/β7 Antibody (DATK32) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Integrin alpha 4/beta 7 of mouse origin by flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-Integrin α4/β7 antibody (DATK32) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including phycoerythrin (PE) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), providing flexibility for different experimental needs. Integrins, such as Integrin α4/β7, are crucial for mediating cell adhesion and play a significant role in the immune response by facilitating lymphocyte migration to sites of inflammation. Integrin α4/β7 is primarily located on immune cell surfaces, particularly lymphocytes, where Integrin α4/β7 interacts with ligands like mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule-1 (MAdCAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1). This localization enables lymphocytes to home to gut-associated lymphoid tissue, essential for maintaining gut immunity and regulating inflammatory responses. Integrin α4/β7 binding to these ligands promotes cell adhesion and triggers intracellular signaling pathways influencing lymphocyte activation and differentiation. Using Integrin α4/β7 (DATK32) monoclonal antibody can provide insights into immune cell trafficking mechanisms and integrin roles in various physiological and pathological processes.
