  • System includes 1.0 ml normal mouse blocking serum, 250 µg mouse monoclonal anti-goat IgG-Biotin secondary, avidin and biotinylated horseradish peroxidase (ABC reagents), peroxidase substrate, DAB chromogen and DAB dilution buffer.
  • Tissue sections are first incubated with primary antibody. Biotinylated secondary antibody is added, followed by the addition of preformed ABC reagent. The target protein is visualized by incubation in peroxidase substrate.
  • Number of slides: 200

How long can the prepared DAB solution remain at 5C? Is the solution light sensitive?

Thank you for your question. We recommend to prepare the peroxidase substrate (DAB) solution fresh each time before use.

What is the volume of DAB in this kit? What is the ratio of DAB to H2O2 to make up the working solution?

Thank you for your question. This information is provided on the product data sheet that can be downloaded using the link above on this product page. Also, see below. 1.0 ml 50x DAB chromogen is provided Preparation of Working Solutions: Peroxidase substrate: In substrate mixing bottle (yellow cap), combine 1.7 ml distilled H2O, 3 drops 15x substrate buffer, 1 drop 50x DAB chromogen and 1 drop 50x peroxidase substrate. Sufficient for 15–20 slides.
