IL-17RB Antibody (TJ-5) is a rat monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects the IL-17RB protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-IL-17RB antibody (TJ-5) is available as a non-conjugated format. IL-17RB protein is a crucial member of the cytokine receptor family, functioning primarily as a receptor for the proinflammatory cytokines IL-17B and IL-17E. This interaction plays a vital role in mediating inflammatory responses and regulating immune system activities, which are essential for maintaining homeostasis and responding to pathogens. IL-17RB expression is notably high in various tissues, including the liver, colon, brain, kidney, and testis, indicating importance in diverse physiological processes. IL-17RB has been implicated in the differentiation and growth of hematopoietic cells, highlighting potential role in immune cell development. IL-17RB is also detected in fibroblast-like synoviocytes from patients with rheumatoid arthritis, suggesting involvement in autoimmune conditions. With ability to facilitate critical signaling pathways, IL-17RB is a key player in the immune response, making anti-IL-17RB antibody (TJ-5) an invaluable tool for researchers studying cytokine signaling and related pathologies.

I am using IL-17RB (TJ-5): sc-73969 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
