IL-12Rβ2 Antibody (2H6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IL-12R beta 2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IL-12R beta 2 antibody (2H6) is available as a non-conjugated format. IL-12R beta 2 protein plays a pivotal role in immune response, particularly in the differentiation of T-helper 1 (Th1) cells, which are essential for combating intracellular pathogens and are implicated in autoimmune diseases. IL-12R beta 2 is part of a complex that binds to interleukin-12 (IL-12), a cytokine that promotes the proliferation and activation of T and natural killer (NK) cells, thereby enhancing immune response. IL-12R beta 2 protein is primarily located on the surface of immune cells, including T cells and NK cells, where IL-12R beta 2 facilitates signaling pathways that lead to the production of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), a critical cytokine for Th1 responses.
