    IKAP Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IKAP protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IKAP (H-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IKAP protein, also known as IKK-complex-associated protein, plays a crucial role in the assembly and activation of the IKK complex, which is essential for the phosphorylation and subsequent degradation of the inhibitory protein IκB. This process is vital for the activation of the transcription factor NFκB, which regulates numerous genes involved in immune response, inflammation, and cell survival. IKAP interaction with the IKK complex, particularly with IKKα and IKKβ, facilitates the formation of an active kinase complex necessary for the phosphorylation of IκB on specific serine residues. This phosphorylation event is a key regulatory step in the NFκB signaling pathway, allowing NFκB to translocate to the nucleus and initiate the transcription of target genes. IKAP function as a scaffold protein underscores its importance in maintaining the integrity and functionality of the IKK complex, making anti-IKAP antibody (H-11) a valuable tool for studying NFκB signaling and its implications in various diseases.
