IGSF6 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IGSF6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IGSF6 (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IGSF6 protein, also known as DORA, is a single-pass type I membrane protein composed of 241 amino acids and features one immunoglobulin-like C2-type domain. IGSF6 is predominantly expressed in immune-related tissues such as the spleen, dendritic cells, peripheral blood lymphocytes, and lymph nodes, where IGSF6 plays a crucial role in immune responses. Notably, IGSF6 is induced by pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNFα and GM-CSF in dendritic cells, highlighting IGSF6′s importance in modulating immune activity. Additionally, IGSF6 is downregulated by ionomycin and phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate in monocytes, suggesting a regulatory mechanism in immune cell signaling. IGSF6 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16p12.2, a region associated with inflammatory bowel disease, indicating IGSF6′s potential involvement in pathophysiological conditions. IGSF6 may function as a co-receptor in the antigen uptake complex or facilitate dendritic cell recirculation, making IGSF6 a significant target for research in immunology and therapeutic applications.
