    SEE ALSO...

IGFN1 Antibody (S-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IGFN1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IGFN1 antibody (S-2) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. IGFN1, also known as immunoglobulin-like and fibronectin type III domain containing 1, consists of 868 amino acids and plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in muscle development and maintenance. IGFN1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is believed to be involved in the regulation of cell signaling pathways that are essential for muscle fiber integrity and function. Proper localization of IGFN1 is vital, as disruptions in expression or localization can lead to muscle-related disorders and contribute to disease pathogenesis. IGFN1 has been implicated in the modulation of cellular responses to stress, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. With diverse applications in research, IGFN1 monoclonal antibody (S-2) serves as a valuable tool for studying IGFN1′s role in health and disease.

I am using IGFN1 (S-2): sc-81855 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
