    SEE ALSO...

IFRD2 Antibody (DD-Z) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IFRD2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IFRD2 antibody (DD-Z) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. IFRD2, also known as Interferon-related developmental regulator 2 or SKMC15, is a 442 amino acid soluble nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes. IFRD2 is ubiquitously expressed and features a β-catenin-like repeat, suggesting involvement in the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) signaling pathway, which is vital for regulating cell growth and differentiation. IFRD2 shares 75% homology with IFRD1 and may influence the expression of surface adhesion molecules essential for the differentiation and fusion of myogenic satellite cells, which are critical for muscle regeneration. While the gene encoding IFRD2 is subject to overlapping homozygous deletions in various lung cancer cell lines, IFRD2 does not exhibit loss-of-function mutations in cancer cells, indicating a potential role in tumor progression and highlighting importance in cancer biology.

I am using IFRD2 (DD-Z): sc-101071 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
