IFN-w Antibody (1PL11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG antibody that detects IFN-w in human samples through enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IFN-w, also known as interferon omega, is a unique member of the type I interferon family, distinguished by antigenic properties that set IFN-w apart from other interferons such as IFN-α and IFN-β. IFN-w plays a crucial role in immune response, particularly during viral infections, as virus-infected leukocytes produce IFN-w to exhibit antiviral activity. IFN-w′s significance extends beyond immune response modulation to potential therapeutic applications in treating various malignancies and autoimmune diseases.
