IFN-α2 Antibody (MT4/E4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IFN-α2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). IFN-α2 (MT4/E4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IFN-α2 plays a crucial role in immune response, particularly in defense against viral infections, by activating immune cells and enhancing antiviral state of neighboring cells. This function helps limit viral replication and spread, contributing to overall effectiveness of immune system.
