Datasheets
  • HspBP1 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ HspBP1 antibody, cited in 1 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 346-362 at the C-terminus of HspBP1 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of HspBP1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for HspBP1 Antibody (F-11) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with HspBP1 Antibody (F-11) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

HspBP1 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects HspBP1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HspBP1 antibody (F-11) is available as the non-conjugated form. Hsp70-interacting protein, or HspBP1, plays a crucial role as a nucleotide exchange factor for Hsp70, a chaperone protein essential for proper protein folding and cellular stress response. HspBP1 modulates Hsp70 activity by binding to this chaperone and inhibiting its function, thereby promoting nucleotide dissociation from the Hsp70 ATPase domain. This interaction is vital for protein maturation, such as the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR), as HspBP1 interferes with CHIP-induced degradation of immature CFTR forms, ultimately enhancing their maturation and functionality. HspBP1 is predominantly expressed in heart and skeletal muscle, highlighting its significance in tissues requiring robust protein quality control mechanisms.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390467 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
