HRT1 Antibody (NB-A7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HRT1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HRT1 antibody (NB-A7) is available as a non-conjugated format. HRT1, a member of the Hairy/Enhancer of split (HES) family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and cell fate determination during embryonic development. HRT1 is particularly important in Notch signaling, which activates HRT1 and other HES genes, leading to basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcriptional repressors essential for proper embryonic patterning. HRT1 is predominantly located in somitic mesoderm, central nervous system, kidney, heart, nasal epithelium, and limb buds during murine embryogenesis, with expression also observed in various adult tissues. HRT1 has been implicated in altered expression patterns in several cancers, including breast, lung, and kidney tumors, highlighting potential as a biomarker for tumorigenesis. Structural features of HRT1, including bHLH domain, Orange domain, and unique YRPW domain, contribute to functional specificity and interaction with other proteins in Notch signaling pathway, making HRT1 a vital component in developmental biology and cancer research.
