HoxC13 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HoxC13 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HoxC13 antibody (F-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HoxC13, also known as HOX3 or HOX3G, is a 330 amino acid transcription factor that plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during development and cellular differentiation. HoxC13 localizes to the nucleus, where this sequence-specific transcription factor interacts with other proteins to establish positional identities along the anterior-posterior axis of the organism. HoxC13 is particularly important in the development of structures such as nails and hair, as well as in the formation of filiform papillae, which are essential for the sensory functions of the tongue. HoxC13′s influence on morphogenetic processes underscores its significance in both normal development and the potential pathogenesis of conditions such as leukemias and hereditary malformations.
