QUICK LINKS

Horseradish peroxidase (HRP), RZ 3.0 is a heme-containing enzyme used in biochemical and proteomics research. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP), RZ 3.0 is supplied as a lyophilized solid and is frequently conjugated to immunoglobulins. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP), RZ 3.0 utilizes hydrogen peroxide to oxidize a wide variety of substrates including Luminol sodium salt (sc-218662), benzidine (sc-214583), DAB (3-3′ diaminobenzidine tetrachloride, sc-24982) and TMP (tetramethylbenzidine, sc-208442). This oxidation reaction gives rise to a color change, thereby identifying the target molecule in a variety of assays such as Western blotting, ELISA and immunohistochemistry. Activity: 600 U/mg. RZ value: ≥3.0
