HEPES sodium salt solution (1M) is a zwitterionic buffer used to maintain pH of solutions. The sodium salt of HEPES is more soluble than it's free acid counterpart. Useful pH Range: 6.8 to 8.2. Also available: HEPES Buffer Solution (1M) (sc-286961)

HEPES sodium salt solution (1M) is prepared with high-quality reagents and 0.2 μm filtered; however it has not been evaluated for use in cell culture. Please employ appropriate sterilization techniques for the intended application.
