SEE ALSO...

Hep C E2 Antibody (1876) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the Hep C E2 protein of Hep C origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Hep C E2 antibody (1876) is available as the non-conjugated format. Hep C E2 protein is a crucial component of the hepatitis C virus, playing a significant role in viral entry into host cells. Specifically, Hep C E2 protein interacts with the CD81 receptor on hepatocytes, facilitating viral entry and subsequent infection. This interaction enables virus establishment and contributes to immune response evasion. Hep C E2 protein undergoes extensive post-translational modifications, including glycosylation, which are essential for stability, folding, and function. These modifications influence viral antigenicity and ability to elude neutralizing antibodies, making Hep C E2 protein studies critical for understanding hepatitis C pathogenesis and developing effective therapies.
