HEMK2 Antibody (1C4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the HEMK2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-HEMK2 antibody (1C4) is available as the non-conjugated format. HEMK2, also known as N6AMT1 (N-6 adenine-specific DNA methyltransferase 1), MTQ2, or N6AMT, is a 214 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the methylation of adenine residues in RNA, which is essential for regulating gene expression and maintaining RNA stability. Post-translational modification influences various cellular processes, including RNA processing, translation, and degradation, thereby impacting overall cellular function and response to environmental stimuli.
