SEE ALSO...

HAUSP Antibody (H-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HAUSP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HAUSP Antibody (H-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HAUSP, also known as herpesvirus-associated ubiquitin-specific protease (USP7), plays a critical role in regulating the stability of tumor suppressor protein p53 by deubiquitinating p53, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing tumorigenesis. HAUSP is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where HAUSP associates with nuclear structures known as ND10, which are involved in various cellular processes such as stress response, oncogenesis, and viral infection. HAUSP binding to ND10 is significant because this interaction highlights HAUSP′s role in modulating cellular responses to stress and potential implications in cancer biology. Additionally, HAUSP binds to Vmw110, a regulatory protein from herpesvirus, which can disrupt ND10, further emphasizing HAUSP′s importance in viral pathogenesis and cellular defense mechanisms. HAUSP gene is located on human chromosome band 16p13.2, underscoring HAUSP′s relevance in human health and disease.
