Halocarbon oil 27 is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer that is semi-crystalline. Composed of chlorotrifluoroethylene repeating units, it has found applications as a cell culture substrate and in the investigation of drug delivery systems. Additionally, it has been employed in the study of biomaterials and biocompatible materials.
